"This was a great place for living the pioneer lifestyle and learning firsthand the challenges, realities, and benefits of slowing down to non-electric and non-refrigeration times. The facility was as advertised and the host Walton was very helpful but not intrusive. If you are interested in helping around the farm, be sure to ask. There's always plenty to do. "We have loved staying in this house for the past 3 years! The house is very cozy, is always well stocked, and has a beautiful view. We love that it has a game room downstairs with a full bath. The host is very receptive and has always gone out of her way to help us with anything that we needed. Our only complaint would be the silverware. The gold plating on it is peeling, which was a concern for us. We just used plastic silverware instead. Highly recommend this as a place to stay!"
